The Liberty women's soccer team closed out its stay in the City of Brotherly Love on a positive note, defeating Saint Joseph's, 3-0, at Sweeney Field, Sunday afternoon.

With the win, the Lady Flames extended their streak to four games, improving to 4-1 on the year. Saint Joseph's falls to 3-1-2 in 2013. Liberty has now posted three goals in each of the last four games after besting Drexel (3-0), Friday night. Liberty is now off to a 4-1 start for the first time in program history.

ok I'm impressed.

don't know that the quality of the northern teams is that strong but nice start anyway

beating UNCG would be nice for once

Haha. She put the moves on her. I think this might be our most talented team in a long time. They are also showing more confidence that they can play with each other and against anyone than I have seen since I've been here (7years).

Womens team just knocked off UNC Greensboro 1-0. Big win for us.

well done. I believe thats a first

really no reason both programs shouldnt roll the league every year.

nice to see a good start to the season
