Looks like they won the Flamethrower Qualifying tournament on the mountain to qualify for a trip to South Carolina in a few weeks. Beat UNC-C by 8 strokes (considering the number of courses in and around Charlotte, that''s an accomplishment!).

The Advanced LU team is tied with Clemson, Alabama, and UC Santa Barbara in 18th place at -6 after the first day. No streaming today -- they had "technical difficulties," but are hoping to get something streamed tomorrow.

Liberty's Intermediate team is tied for 7th with GA Tech at -1.

The Advanced team is competing in the National Championship division that I talked about in the OP. The Intermediate team is in the First Flight division.

Bumping this one since the Disc Golf team just won the Northeastern Qualifier to make their third trip to Nationals. Beat Clemson by 7 strokes.

The qualifier was played on this course in Pennsylvania. Looks like a really challenging layout, but I'm hoping the guys (and girls) get a chance to practice on some more open courses before nationals. The Hippodrome is pretty open, and wind tends to mess people up if they haven't gotten used to it.
