Nicki Scripko is committed to Liberty to play in the '07-'08 season and was named one of PrepVolleyball.com's "Senior Aces" as one of the top 250 high school players in the country (basically the equivalent of being a 3* or 4* basketball or football recruit). She had scholarship offers to virtually the entire ACC as well as schools like Minnesota, and futher interest from a number of volleyball powers such as Hawaii.

She's my little sister, so I get to brag a bit. We're all excited to see her at Liberty next year.

That could be the person to turn this program around.

we need something. i am disappointed with the program. im not a pinder hater because i have met him and i think highly of him, but something is not right. gratnted we usually take our west coast beating in the early season which prepares us for conference play, but our poor showing against teams like VT, Appy st., ohio u and davidson, teams we should be very competitive with we got crushed. heck we have only won 1 game in 6 matches. please someone give me sound explanations and not apologies.

This program has really fallen on hard times and it is a shame since we were so competitive just 3 years ago and before that . I am not going to get into the coaching situations since I have beaten it up a bit but something must change or else things could get even worse.

Thanks for the heads up, Vadimivich. And if you can't drop by here to keep us posted on her senior season it would be appreciated.

talked to coach Pinder about Nicki yesterday. he told me she had 40 or 45 kills in their state championship game against Asheville. Her team lost in 5 but from what Pinder told me she carried her team in that game. The girl can score and she will bring that next year in the position of Outside Hitter.
