Both teams were young and LU played very well but were hurt by youthful mistakes that The Pack were able to capitalize on. We had a couple of great shots on goal but were unable to capitalize

State were more aggressive in the second half. We more than held our own. Had one shot by Wilson hit off crossbar and he had another opportunity also in the 2nd half that went way high over crossbar. He 's only a freshman but looks good.

I thought it was a pretty even match. I agree that State was more aggressive in the second half but thought we handled it well. We were very tentative in the first half but had the one mental error that State capitalized on. But these are the growing pains of a young team. Alderrama will have it clicking in no time.
