Closing its busiest week of the season, the Liberty women's tennis team will host a pair of Big South matches this weekend. The Lady Flames will welcome Campbell for a 2 p.m. match, Friday, before Winthrop comes to Lynchburg on Saturday for a 10 a.m. meeting. Saturday's match will cap off the team's sixth match in seven days.

Campbell is a solid team, so beating them is definitely a good thing. After starting out 5-10, to get it turned around to 10-10 just shows how much heart these ladies have, especially after a match like today. They won the double point, then got down 3-2 in singles until Cameron and Nicola managed to pull it out. Especially excited for Cameron, this has got to give her some confidence going forward into the end of the season. Also great for Nicola as well, since she did get down early in both sets but managed to follow the gameplan (great coaching) to get it turned around and win her match.
