Jakeshell has done a fantastic job getting this program off the ground.

Looks like they placed 2nd in their championship match as well. Good for the women, not bad for a second year program.

See this is what I am talking about when it has to do with our overall athletic performance. People focus on the money sports (which I understand), but we have a ton of good things going on in our athletic department and it is something that should not be ignored.

I wonder how ToC would feel about this hire?

Doesn't fit his agenda.

I don't think people understand how difficult it is to pull 2nd place off when we start off every meet behind because we don't field a diving team.

I know of someone who would be an off-the-charts dive coach for us. Think 10m in Sydney.

In the meantime, Jake has this program off to a flying start despite limited facilities to entice recruits. Dude has been an unbelievable hire.

He's also been a great ambassador of the University. I love his enthusiasm.

Also bear in mind that in the two years this program has existed as a D-1 program, we have had...what...three home meets? Doesnt have a whole lot of opportunity to show off the home atmosphere to recruits

(Im back but I'll try to keep my comments to what will add to a discussion)
