Paul Carmany, assistant athletics communications director, has a top 10 since he's been here (since 2006) Liberty athlete countdown on his twitter account @RunP313. His countdown is:

10. Kallie Corbin
9. Larry Blair
8. Jessica Moore
7. Robert Karlsson
6. Mike Brown
5. Clendon Henderson
4. Rashad Jennings
3. Megan Frazee
2. Josh McDougal
1. Sam Chelanga

Pretty interesting discussion. Who would make your list?

Should we go all-time or just that short 5-year window? The top four would probably make the list either way but I would have considerably different selections for the rest.

Id have a hard time making a top 10 but I think looking outside of his list and thinking about athletes who could be considered for the HoF in a few years time, Id say that Tiffani Smith has a chance, Mike Just, Dani McNaney (although she is married now...I forget what her married name is) and Anthony Smith

I think Jordan Jenkins should be on that list somewhere. She was one of the first recruits from Coach Johnson that got our women's tennis program on the solid foundation it is today.

Jordan certainly is someone who would be considered for HoF as well as being on a top 10 athletes list

Mike Just? Are you kidding me? If we are going that route - why not Carter McMasters?

Well sorry...I meant Phil Laurent (all time leader in doubles and total hits...and an all around nice guy)...For some reason, I got the wrong name pulled up in my head when I wrote that...and if that doesnt strike you either...does making the major leagues have to be a requirement for being a HoFer at LU?
