Tennis-Conference Lead at Stake in Sunday's Matchup

Hi Everyone!!

Wow, This is BIG!!! :pbjtime
The Ladies Tennis Team is going for the #1 spot in the conference....
Liberty vs. Coastal Carolina!

The match date has been changed from Friday, April 8th to Sunday, April 10th and will be played on the Liberty courts.
The time has yet to be announced.
If you can make it out to the match, please go cheer on the Lady Flames!!! :clapping

I spoke with Cameron this morning and she said the team is REALLY fired up!! :cheerleader

Liberty writes:
"The Big South women's tennis match between Liberty and Coastal Carolina has recently been rescheduled from Friday to Sunday, due to the possibility of inclement weather. A start time is yet to be determined.

When the Liberty women's tennis team hosts Coastal Carolina Sunday, first place in the Big South Conference and both teams' current win streaks will be placed on the line. The Lady Flames have strung together seven-straight wins, while the Chanticleers are winners in their last five.

Since dropping their opening Big South contest to Winthrop, the Lady Flames have won their last four conference matchups, taking down Presbyterian College (6-1), Charleston Southern (4-3), Gardner-Webb (4-3) and Radford (7-0) to rise into a tie for second place with Winthrop in the latest standings. With its seven-straight wins, the team now sports a 12-6 overall record."

If it had been today there's no way I could've gotten off work, but still, I'm going to have to miss it...this weekend is my sister's BDay, and there are already family plans Crybaby

Those of you that can make the matches tomorrow, I encourage you to go. The men will be fighting to help LU claim the Men's All-Sport trophy, and the women are fighting for a share of first in the Big South. There aren't many better ways to enjoy a Sunday afternoon after church. GO FLAMES!!!
