Should be interesting. 3000 meters is basically a sprint for Sam. Not his best distance.

I saw the race on ESPN2, and Sam came in 4th. He ran a personal best in the race, and accounted well for himself. It was nice to see him race on TV. I've only been able to read about his performances.
