How often has that happened to our program? I'm going out on a limb and suggesting never.

Actually the 2002-2003 freshman class was ranked pretty high. I want to say better than 12, but I can’t remember exactly and couldn’t find it on the internet. Then freshmen Andrew Turner and Jordan Mitchell helped the team advance to the program’s first ever NCAA East Regional. Also, in his senior year Turner led the Liberty team to the programs second post season play. Mitchell left school after his sophomore year to start a band called "Georgia", (http://www.georgiatheband.com/) which would eventually be signed by Atlantic Records

This years freshman class has been led by three players. Highly recruited Ian McConnell from Riverview, FL and Chase Marinell from Fort Myers, FL (http://www.libertyflames.com/index.cfm? ... 28&TeamID=). Niklas Lindstrom a walk-on from Kalmar, Sweden has also contributed with a 4th place finish at a tournament hosted by Michigan State.

Now that it has been brought up, any Red Wing fans in the house smiling at Niklas' name being mentioned? I know it is spelled slightly different but come on.

Obviously Lindstrom came from same pipeline as Karlsson in Kalmar, Sweden. I wonder how we made those connections.
