I'm sure the active FF'rs are sick of hearing my high respect for HP but I'm telling you, they are the ONLY other school in the BSC or maybe even X mile radius putting a commitment that can come remotely close to LU. I feel like they could be an Enron one day though.....just saying.

It was my privilege to serve you today. If you have any feedback, please direct it to my Assistant Director....
I would be sacrilegious to have a high respect for Radfurd, maybe even WU but I'm ok with respecting HP (business wise)

I still think that Quiz Bowl wins should factor into this.

I just realized that Buddy Sasser was only comissioner of the BSC for 6 years. And they name the cup after him? KK has been there a lot longer than that now. Are they going to rename it when he retires?
It looks as if LU has wrapped up another Sasser Cup. The Woman look as if they have wrapped up the all Womans Cup and barring an upset in the Baseball tourny the men will fall second to Coastal in the Mens Cup. Glad to see the Athletic Program pull together another stong year all around. GO FLAMES!

LU would win by an even larger margin if KK would let Quiz Bowl count in the standings!

All in all, 14 out of the 17 Big South athletics programs Liberty sponsors finished first or second in either their regular season standings or at their Big South Championship event.
Unlike the previous three years where Liberty edged out Coastal Carolina for the Sasser Cup by an average of 0.49 points, Liberty Athletics had one of the most dominant Sasser Cup victories in Big South history. Liberty won the title by 1.46 points over Coastal Carolina.
Only three other schools have earned the Sasser Cup in its history: Winthrop, Campbell (returning to the conference this upcoming year in all sports except football) and UNC-Greensboro. I think that shows that the Liberty and Coastal athletics programs are just at another level compared to the rest of the conference.
