In case no one noticed we are playing 3rd ranked Virginia now and are all tied up 1-1 early in the second half. UVA scored very early in the game with a header and we just had a breakaway goal by Alex Verville. I am hoping that we finally beat these guys after we tied them last year

UVA just scored on a penalty kick. 2-1 with about 10 minutes remaining.

Final now 2-1 Virginia wins. Nice try. Seemed to be very close game. Shots on goal were even 4-4.

That stinks. We have come close a bunch a times but Mens soccer is one sport be haven't beat the Hoos in. To bad they will not come to Lynchburg anymore.

That is disappointing to keep losing to them and yes the games are usually close. But mens soccer is without a doubt their best sport year in and year out. They are always ranked high and competing for a national championship every year so I guess that it is good that we can compete with them. Why woundn't they come to Lynchburg? With our upgraded facility you would think that they would come here. N Carolina comes here.

it was because before osborne was built the fans were WAY close to the field and we heckled pretty bad. I don't think their coach like that too much.
