Congrats on the victory!
Not true...we beat them in women's tennis all 3 years I was officially involved with the tennis programs. My senior year, 4-3 W, first year of grad school, 6-1 W, 2nd year of grad school 5-2. And we would've won last year if it hadn't been for all the injuries and stuff that plagued the team. And men's tennis has been VERY competitive against them.
I am looking forward to Jordan's match against Helen Cunningham of Richmond tomorrow. That should be a good one.

Well sorry to hear that she lost, but way to put up a GREAT fight. I think I can speak for everyone on this board when I say we're really proud of Cam and the way she's represented LU on and off the court.

Super Quick update:
Rebekah Jenkins beat University of Louisville in the semi-finals... 3-6, 7-6, 7-5!! GREAT MATCH!!
Annisha Domenech beat Virginia Tech in the semi-finals 6-4, 6-3!
There is a catch, they are both in the same flight so... this puts both Rebekah and Annisha in the finals AGAINST each other. There is a good chance these girls will not play. Generally the rule is teams do not put their players against one another.
Liberty has done well!!

It was a GREAT team effort by the Lady Flames this weekend. I had a lot of fun watching the girls, and enjoyed watching them play again today. Coach Johnson continues to recruit Christ-centered ladies who are talented on the court and continue to represent LU well. Tennisfan, you have every reason to be proud of Cam, she did great this weekend and is only going to get better.
Rebekah Jenkins showed a LOT of heart this weekend. She was down a set and 5-0 in the second against Louisville before coming back to win. That was an AMAZING effort, something that is VERY, VERY difficult to do, and she did while still recovering from a twitsted ankle and a taped-up wrist.
Jordan Jenkins is still as tough as always. She should have a lot of fun her senior season.
Wish I could see both teams next weekend at Elon, Tennisfan, you'll have to keep us updated.
