Former Virginia Governor Patrick Henry was perhaps best known for urging colonists against the British by declaring, "I know not what course others may take, but as for me… give me liberty or give me death."

Two hundred years later, a Hernando High statesman and three-time wrestling state qualifier, Daniel Pritz, wasn't bashing England as he chose Liberty — as in Division I Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. — to launch his collegiate career.

Recently, Pritz accepted an academic scholarship to attend Liberty over Appalachian State.
