First Academy two-sport star Ansley Gebben has a challenging itinerary mapped.

All except for when she's going to get some sleep.

"I really haven't figured that part out yet," Gebben said. "I'll probably sleep on the plane the whole way back."

Gebben, who owns four state track championships and has been on two volleyball state title teams, has can't-miss, conflicting events this weekend. So she is doing what multisport athletes in a year-round world do — squeezing everything but rest into a 24-hour cycle.

Gebben will run the girls 400-meter hurdles on Saturday at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, N.C. She flies back that night to join her Orlando Volleyball Academy 18-and-under team for its second day of play in the AAU Girls Junior National Volleyball Championships.

Her OVA squad has pool-play matches at 9 and 11 Sunday morning at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Gebben has committed to play college volleyball at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., but continues to train for and compete in both sports.
