Scott McKinney
Goalkeeper, 6-0, 170, Austin, Texas (Dripping Springs High School)
A five-year member and team captain of the Lonestars 92 Red South Soccer Club, McKinney led the club to the 2007 U.S. Club Soccer finals and a No. 3 national ranking.
A three-year letter winner and team captain for Dripping Springs High School, the goalkeeper was named to the all-state squad in 2008. In addition, he was named to the all-region, all-district and All-Central Texas teams as a sophomore and junior.
McKinney was a member of National Honor Society and was selected as a Boys State Delegate for his school.

“Scott has great leadership qualities and has an outstanding track record at the high school and club level in high school. He is a good shot stopper,” stated Alder.
Texans know how to play soccer? I thought Texas was a football-only state. :dontgetit
