The Liberty volleyball team, winners of three consecutive Big South Conference regular-season titles, opened spring practice this week. The Lady Flames’ spring preparations will be highlighted by weekend tournaments at VCU, Virginia Tech and Virginia.

Saw no mention of Nicki in the write-up, is she still planning on playing next year?

Nicki will not be playing next season. For a variety of reasons, she determined it would be best for her not to play.

She is still at LU and will graduate in December 2010.

You're still going to be stuck with me. Kim and I plan to attend several of the matches this year. The team is very special to us and we are lifelong LU fans now.
