Frankie Gayeski had his 14-match winning streak snapped early on Wednesday in the championship round of the Southern Scuffle. However, the Liberty senior was still able to take home fourth place at 149 pounds, spotlighting a 16th-place finish by the Flames at the seventh annual event hosted by UNC Greensboro inside the Special Events Center at the Greensboro Coliseum.

Steve- Gayeski looked great in every match ... really hitting his stride and was very consistant. The entire team seemed to wrestle with greater confidence.

This weekend the entire team will be challenged with the Va. Duals --- take on #1 seed Oklahoma St. in the first round.

Do you know if anyone is broadcasting these matches online? I know Christiansburg is livestreaming their high school matches, but I was hoping I might be able to see the LU/Ok State match?!
