Finally, I can say it:
Jordan Jenkins has a little sister, Rebekah, who will be coming to Liberty next fall. She will be joined by Cameron Richard from Alabama.

You'll hear about the men's team in due time. The men are set to have a great season, and I am looking forward to watching them rack up wins and compete for a Big South title along with the women.

Lakewood Ranch tennis player signs letter-of-intent
By JOHN LEMBO - jlembo@bradenton.com
There were many schools lobbying for Lakewood Ranch tennis player Rebekah Jenkins.
The Mustang decided to follow in her family’s footsteps.
A senior, Jenkins signed a letter-of-intent Tuesday to play Division I tennis at Liberty University, joining her older sister, Jordan, a senior at the Lynchburg, Va., school.
“My sister,” Rebekah said, “she’s something else.”
The older Jenkins told the younger Jenkins all about the perks of playing tennis with the Flames, who compete in the Big South Conference.
“She told me how everything is five-star, and they put their players in a winning environment,” Rebekah said. “And that’s what really got me. When you go into a tournament, you go in with the mindset of winning. ... And Liberty does that so well.”
Jenkins was also considering schools such as Pepperdine, Cornell and Columbia, and is also looking forward to playing for Flames coach Chris Johnson.
“He’s amazing,” she said.
Liberty went 13-4 last season and 4-1 in conference play.

There really was never any doubt.
Rebekah Jenkins heard from a lot of schools, but there was only one place she could see herself playing tennis in college.
Having the opportunity to play tennis with her sister, Jordan, at Liberty University was an opportunity that was too enticing to pass up so Rebekah Jenkins wasted little time signing a letter of intent with the Flames.
"Oh, man. I am so excited," Rebekah Jenkins said Wednesday about the chance to join her sister at the Division I program located in Lynchburg, Va. "The whole idea makes me want to jump out of my skin. We think it would be a great idea to be able to play on the same team and play doubles together."
The decision was made this past summer when the sisters sat together and talked about college life and the chance that they could compete on the same team for one wonderful season.
Jordan Jenkins, who has played No. 1 for Liberty since she was a freshman, will be a senior when Rebekah arrives next fall. The plan is for the two to play doubles together.
