I'm confused about the numbers: if Pinder is "1 win away from 100" how many wins does he have?
You have failed to explain that properly

DOGGERS!
We still have @ High Point then at home vs. Winthrop and Coastal. This thing is far from over.

i went to the game tonight and mad props to UNCA. they outhustled us, and flat out dominated. they are the best team in the big south. LU just seemed really flat out there and did not appear ready.

yeah for sure.... Came over to talk some smack, but, i'll wait for more of that until tourny time
However, I remember a few years back when we had a home volleyball match b4 "Jammin and the Justice" (basketball tip-off event)...And I think at the time we might have come close to setting the record for a non-tourny match in the Big South?? And I remember how hard it was to get a "sellout" in Justice....1200, just for a vball game w/out the basketball hook, is awesome. Good to see!
Should be a great tourny, in Justice

UNC Asheville was excellent on defense and their OH (#11) was a hitting machine, but the officiating was absolutely HORRIBLE. I've played AND officiated for a bunch of years, and I know everyone misses calls and I don't usually get too worked up over a missed call, but last night was just brutal. Coach P got 2 yellow cards, but they would have ejected me, especially after that first yellow he got.
Hopefully we'll see them again in the tournament and maybe there will be a different outcome.

what is wrong with the team?
from a casual fan's prospective- it seems as though the rest of the league is catching up to us, like in WBB
I'm sure we expected to get a few losses OOC, but to get smacked around in the BSOUTH?

We were more athletic but they played off of it and used it to their advantage. I don't know how many times I saw Asheville just tip the ball over our front line of blockers. They did it all night.

have heard this in other losses- that would seem to me to be a coaching issue, then?
not changing/adapting the game plan in response to the other team?
or lack of execution?

I thought I heard that after the first game down here too

... Well lady 'Dogs have no easy road to finish out the season with Coastal & Winthrop at home the final 2 games.. LU's road looks much better right now!

enough on the officiating. Asheville got hosed on some call too. UNCA had a better game plan last night. luckily it's just a regular season match, but LU has to play better.

We are in a barn burner with High Point at the moment. 1-1. 11-9 UNCA in Gm 3.
