Its tonight @ 7 in Richmond... unfortunately i wont be able to attend... some interesting facts about this game
Head coach Shane Pinder enters the week with a career record of 98-86 in six seasons with the Lady Flames, leaving him just two wins shy of 100.
Bacon and McCarty could both reach career milestones this week. Bacon needs only one more dig for 1,000 in her career, while McCarty sits just 31 kills away from 1,000. (im sad im going to miss Karyl's 1000, but hopefully will get to see Chelaines at home on Saturday)
should be a great match tonight... go lady flames!!

If LU wins tonight and at Presbyterian Coach Pinder could tie for 3rd all time in wins with Sue Kelly on Senior Night.

Another interesting stat according to the SIDs:
Liberty hit over .300 as a team against both Coastal Carolina and Winthrop. The Lady Flames are now 49-0 since rally scoring was instituted in 2001, when hitting .300 or higher.

Uh oh, th3rd, you're moving in on BJ's random stats territory. You might wanna watch out. There's only room for one person who grabs stats from the SIDs.

actually, the fact that list is noted "list" implies to me that there actually IS a list. otherwise BJ would've just said, there is no list. to note something with " " implies that it is talking about a real and/or physical object, thus "LIST" would imply an actual list object vs. list which implies a mere response to the original article in question...
glad im not Th3rd

Sometimes I wonder if I should just give up trying to explain to you guys that there was no list, there is no list and there never will be a list

I watched this game online...
It seemed like we couldn't make many good passes from the back row so Boggs could set it up. There were sooooo many outside hitter sets and it was not allowing us to have a lot of change-ups and quickie sets to play around with their blockers.
There were a few good hits tonight, but nothing THAT impressive. We still have some work to do. But then again, that is what makes having a tough non-conference opponent to play against a good thing at this point: to find our weaknesses against good teams to be ready for the Tournament!

Going into this match it was said that they could pose several problems for LU. Their size advantage alone is one that you would see in the NCAA's not in the BSC. They are a good team, they're 1 or 2 in the CAA which isnt a push over league. No big deal....they'll bounce back.

VCU is currently second in the CAA. They're a good squad, but this is just a nonconference matchup that provides some good experience for what to expect in the NCAAs. We just gotta beat our Big South competition to get there, and I have confidence that we will.

With 4 straight home games vs the Big South we should win out. I saw the VCU video and was very disappointed with that effort and execution. I know we can do better than that.
