the ladies beat Francis Marion tonight 4-0, with three first half goals and one in the second. silvia betancourt led the flames with two goals. the Lady Flames improve to 2-6 on the season and will next face Longwood.

The Lady Flames played a great game. MO started them off early, and LN contributed one goal while SB notched a goal in either half. The score could have been even more lopsided. It appears that they have discovered an attacking formation that has some bite. I really like the three girls they had playing together up top, it seemed like for the first time this season there were real combinations involving all the attacking players. Of course Francis Marion is probably the weakest opponent on the schedule this season so though the prognosis is looking up, that doesn't mean the Lady Flames can let up at all or fail to improve.
It looks like Charleston Southern is going to be the team to beat this year in the Big South. What do you guys think?

a good game. Let's see if they are ready for longwood. They will be out for revenge of there loss of the lulu cup. MO had a great game, even made some passes! AL changed the complection of this offensive. Hate of lose her on defense for the tough games. Let see if this can continue.
