I believe we beat Wake and App State. Might be a stretch to plan on beating Duke, but everything is possible.

Hey Vadim, that is a fair if not optimistic prediction. As you know, without Bacon every match is a question mark. If she was healthy, I would say we should win 2 and have a good shot at 3. Without her, I say we win 1 for sure, and have an even shot at two. To win three this weekend, we would need to see perfect passing, smart set placement, and high kill ratios from every front row player.
Go Liberty!!!

Right on the mark, Atrain. Great minds think alike.

Paging JJBeaty or any of the others on this board who were there. Saw the live stats, it looked like a heartbreaker as we were up 13-11 in the 5th and only 2 points away multiple times in the 4th.

After several hours, Kallie called home. She said the team played hard, and the coaches did a great job. Every point was a fight.
She and the team plan to bring that level of intensity to tonights match. She basically sounded like Tebow after the Ol Miss game last year. She is fired up and ready to get on the court.
Before the call I was frustrated, mad and upset. After the call I was pumped up, optimistic and ready for the Wake Forest game tonight.
GO LIBERTY... KICK SOME SPANDEX!!!

Chillin in Caribou Coffee in Greensboro and had some great lunch at Macaroni Grill! One of my fave places to eat...
Yeah, this game was perhaps the best game I have seen yet at Liberty...but it would rival the Big South Championship match vs. Winthrop 2 seasons ago...
They played their hearts out. It was definitely a fight to the very end. It was crazy, but totally awesome. There were some key things that kept us from winning like bad serves, and touching the net a few times that cost us those close points. We can definitely run with the big girls and we should get some respect after this match. I don't see Wake Forest winning tonight if we bring our A game like we did earlier today. Can't wait for the next match!

i thought the team had too many unforced errors at the wrong time in the Duke game. It was frustrating to watch but the team played their butts off though. This is probably the best I've seen LU play. Hopefully we will take care of wake forest tonight.

No Gametracker again... CBS Sports is doing a very poor job of making the Gametracker system work.
Wade just called and we are down, by one (19/18) in the first set.

Sounds like a difficult night at Wake. Perhaps that Duke match took too much out of our girls.

Wake Forest played their best volleyball of the year. We hit well, but their DS and L dug nearly everything we hit at them.
For whatever reason, when they were in system they found the floor and we did not match their point production.
Did the long 5 set match earlier against Duke come into effect? Maybe. However, no girl on the team wants to admit that... I think that is a good sign. Would we have won with Bacon in the lineup? Maybe. However, we now know Hanna can play well on the outside and KS sees the floor well from the right side.
For a lot of reasons I think all of us should give WF credit, they played VERY well and earned the win.
The season is a long-distance race, and the girls need to look ahead and keep their focus on the finish line - taking the Big South Championship.
Go Liberty!!!
