A Sea Of Red

Nicki talked to us last night after the Louisville match, and she said that after the match several of the Louisville players were waiting to be asked to pray. They had seen us do that after each of the other matches and wanted to participate as well. One of the foreign players was next to Nicki in the circle and said "I've never done this before. What do I do?" Nicki told her just to hold her hand and close her eyes. One of the Louisville players told one of ours, "I'm one of you guys." Another just told several players that she thought it was great and started hugging them and told them thanks. After telling us this, Nicki smiled and said excitedly, "That's why we play this game!"

That's very encouraging to hear! We're building a respectful reputation and giving glory to God in the midst of it all! Can't wait to go down to the Wake Forest tourney!

I love hearing stories of how athletics can be used as an outreach tool. Proud of how the girls conduct themselves.
