Freshman have arrived! A big welcome to their families!

To the family members and friends of income freshman, “Welcome to the Liberty Volleyball Family!”
Over the years this website has been an excellent place for many parents to promote the team and increase interest in the program. It has also served as a way for parents to communicate with each other.
Those parents who are lucky enough to go to nearly every match will often post their positive observations and give compliments to players who were “difference makers” in each set... win or lose.
During the three years Laura and I have been in the program, I can’t recall a single post from a family member that was critical of a player or a coach. I'm proud of that fact... it's a rare thing these days.
I encourage you to become an active LU volleyball fan, and plan now to enjoy this website. Don’t hesitate to express your excitement for an upcoming match, or share your ideas on how we can bond as a group and show support for the girls.
My wife and I will be flying out from Oregon to watch the first two tournaments.
Virginia Tech Invitational
Aug 28 UNC Greensboro
Aug 29 Montana
Aug 29 Virginia Tech
Liberty Univ. Invitational
Sep 4 East Tennessee State*
Sep 5 Howard*
Sep 5 Elon*
Sometime during the Virginia Tech weekend, I would like to suggest family members, friends, and fans get together for a meal – someplace where we can walk around and introduce ourselves. Maybe we can find a pizza restaurant that has a private room.
I’ll also work with Nicki’s dad to organize a pre-game meal at the Vines (we can simply hangout in the upper area of one of the sections). I will work with the coaches to see what we can and cannot do. Note: It’s always good to keep coaches in the loop.
That’s it for now. GO LIBERTY VOLLEYBALL!!!
