We will have 4 guys competing this week in Arkansas. (sorry if I have missed someone).

Matt Parker (SR.) - High Jump, currently ranked 22nd in the nation in HJ.

Matt will Jump in a qualifying round on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.

John Talbert (FR.) - Discuss, currently ranked 13th.

John will throw in a qualifying round on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.

Sam Chelanga (SO.) - 10000 m, currently ranked 1st, and he has a collegiate record in one of the long races, maybe this one?

Sam runs Thursday night at 9:45 in the Finals

Dan Newell (SR.) - Decathlon, currently ranked 25th. Good Luck Dan!

Dan will do 5 events Wednesday, and 5 events on Thursday.

These guys are some of the best talent that gets recruited into Liberty on a National Level. I hope they all do really well this week.

All I know is that Fumble would have been all over this one. His commentary during Josh's national championship run was pretty impressive.

Very true. He really got into ALL sports. Thanks for the reminder.

I just clicked onto the link and the womens 10k is in progress. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get rolling after this one finishes. My batteries are running low this evening.

I am trying to get the feed to work- nothing yet. The same thing happened to me during the xc nats and I never got to watch it.

Okay, I got it to work.

I forgot how boring a women's 10,000 can be when your friends aren't running in it. Yikes.

I was going to go over to Fayetteville tonight to watch Sam run, but the baseball and softball games went long. Great intentions, but reality made it difficult. The kids are in bed and I'm ready to cheer for a Liberty national champion.

Go get 'em Sam!!

Look for Sam to take it out hard from the gun. Galen has a nasty kick and will eat our boy for a late dinner if it comes down to the last couple of laps.

Sammy surprisingly received the biggest applause during introductions. Now its time for him to give everyone something to cheer.

As predicted, Sammy out like people are chasing him.

Rupp realizing Sam means business, so he starts to close the gap. Sam with a 20 meter lead on Galen after 2 laps. Only 23 to go. 8)

I don't know enough about this Arkansas dude to know if he is able to keep pace or if he is just trying to reel Sammy back in. But these two are way out front of the field.

It is super hot and humid there right now. Sam is going to make people pay with the hot pace. Hopefully he is the only one who can handle it.

Our old nemesis Rupp is reeling in the front two.

Wish we had Josh Cox on here tonight to add commentary.

Are you saying the American 50k record-holder can add more to the conversation than a washed-up LU walk-on? Sheesh.
