Anyone brave enough to predict the tournament victories?

LU defeats GW, Winthrop somehow beats UNC-A, LU beats Winthrop.
HPU defeats Radford, Coastal beats Charleston, Coastal beats HPU.

LU defeats Coastal in the final

I like your confidence in WU beating UNCA, and I hope you are right, but WU has not played well on the road this year, so I'm not terribly encouraged. But who knows.

WEF. I must confess that I see it as truly an upset, but I believe they can do it. The talent is there, but the fire isn't. WU didn't look real strong against LU at WU, and when they came to LU, I almost didn't recognize them from last year. They had a look of defeat about them when they played us, and I don't know why. Sally seems to be a good coach with a lot on the ball, and the team has talent. They did not seem to have much joy and they just couldn't get much offense going, but I think they can pull it out against UNC-A. LU, on the other hand, seems to have gotten a second wind. They have played much more energetically in the last few matches and have refused to lose. They are improving their play at just the right time to come out of the tournament as victors. It will not be easy because there are several teams that have improved so much.

Well, I almost got it right. The only match I screwed up on was Winthrop. I gave them credit for tournament experience. I thought they were going to prove me right when they won the first set of the match, but then they gave up. The UNC-A fans were a little cruel. They were holding up a sign that said instead of Winthrop, they should change their name to Losethrop. The match btwn LU and CCU was a real thriller, but we won just as I had predicted.
