Yeah, Karyl was awesome...and Jess back on offense is really great as well. Kelly is going to continue to get better at libero. An exciting thing is that even without Nik, this team is still rolling. Nik, Chelaine, Jess, Karyl, Ashley, Brittany and Kallie are all great, offensive weapons who can also dig it up. GO LADY FLAMES!!!
In other news, the older Coastal fans were really annoying tonight ...talking smack when your team is down 15-4 or something like that is just ridiculous.
A Great Night!

It was great to see all the parents tonight. I even spoke with thesportscritic at tonights game... what a nice guy!
The parent dinner after the game was fun. We all met in the FOC and enjoyed the win together. Two things happened while at the dinner: 1.We viewed a video created by the players - very touching! Kirstyn Sanders did a wonderful job of producing it! 2. Coach Pinder spoke from his heart about the team and being a coach. Everyone appreciated his words - we got a peek into his love for the girls and LU, and passion for winning.
As for the game... I was surprised! They're a very good team, and I thought it was going to be a 4 or 5 set match. In fact, after the first point of the match, I thought to myself, "This is going to be a long night." Note: If you did not go to the game, the first point went back and forth over 8 times before LU won the point.
The match ended with nice stats all around for our Lady Flames.
Go Liberty!!!

I hear CCU was pretty "unsportsmanlike" when they saw Nik on crutch's...they got a little to happy to quick
Just wait when she comes back for them! That should be something to watch!

I talked to Maddie and Jimmy about it at the dinner last night, and they thought she would be ready in about a week. Maddie said she would definitely be ready for HPU.

Having Nicki back for HPU will be a definite plus. She seemed to be walking pretty well Saturday after the match.
It will really make a statement if we can take HPU out on their court in a decisive manor! Maybe 3-4 sets!
We certainly have the players to do it.
Go Flames
