Presbyterian and UNC Asheville

I am leaving the fun and sun on Thursday and flying back to celebrate my girls 21st Birthday. Being able to see them beat Presby and UNC Asheville will be the true icing on the B-day cake. I am hoping to experience some cooler weather and see some color in the trees. We don't get much of that in S.D.

Who will I see at those two games? Roll call........

I predict that the team leaves with two more Big South wins !

Looking forward to seeing all of you at the games. Gymtalk, you have not chimed in, are you going to be there?

Radford, Presby and UNCA, if the girls play Liberty Volleyball, three more wins!

UNCA just took Winthrop to 5 sets, and it also looks like one of UNCA's better players got injured and is out for the season.

I'm here in Lynchburg! We flew in on Thursday, and spent today with Kallie. She and the team are now in warm-ups. We leave for the game in 30 minutes.

I'll see all of you in The Vines (down front and behind the team).

Go Liberty!

LU wins against PC 3-0.

Side note: Winthrop falls to High Point in 4. Looks like it will be HP and LU in the top two in the Big South Standings!

and Gymtalk it was great to finally meet you!

Radford beat UNC-A

Radford beat Ashville 3-1 tonight. All the sets were close. If we do what we are supposed to do, should be another win for us.

Ya know, at the beginning of the season I though there was a chance HP would be #2...but that they'd have to battle hard with Winthrop for it. HP is #2, but Winthrop has fallen off a cliff it seems.

Why did PC wear black? Black is nowhere in their color scheme.

Who is the guy who yells alot in the 2nd row? We need to sign him up!!

Guilty in Row Two.

I think you mean me... but I didn't think I was that loud. Vadim was in row three... now he was loud! :>) Chopertony was to our right along with several other fathers and mothers of players.

Part of the fun when you're a parent of a player is the emotion and connection to the game being played. You live in the moment. You allow your daughter to move you. It's being a fan x10.

The Liberty parents are great! As a group we support the team wtih words of encouragement, yells of praise, and hugs of love.

Go Girls of October!
Go Liberty!

do what I did - make up a cool Tshirt with your SCREEN NAME on it, then walk around wearing it as your wife (mortified beyond belief) hides her face in absolute horror.

hey- no one questioned who I was.

I'm a genius.

You don't need a t-shirt to be recognized my short friend.

To Vadim, chopertony and Gymtalk,

Its great to see you guys coming out and supporting your kids (and the team in general). Hopefully I'll make it out to a match and meet you (I'll be the one with the crutch so it wont be hard to miss me)

Chopertony, were you the one at the football game with your USC stuff on? Good stuff. Hope you enjoyed your long weekend at LU.

Schfourteenteen, Yes, I am the loudmouth dad who yells alot. I think the girls feed off of crowd noise that is supportive of them. I try to make sure each one hears her name from the stands. Nicki used to be a little embarassed by it in high school, but she got used to it. See if you can get lots of your friends to come out to the High Point match. We could even sing happy birthday to Jess. Tuesday is her birthday.
