I'm not sure if it is off topic, but if I recall, someone was critical about RMK's offensive approach involving a lot of 3 point shooting, and I wanted to address that. IMHO, with the rules as they currently exist in college basketball, any coach who doesn't have his team shooting a lot of 3s and isn't recruiting to that end is an IDIOT!!

Winthrop is shooting fewer 3s this year because they have fewer effective shooters. They are scoring less and winning with defense more than offense. Last year they shot an average of 23 a game (about what LU is shooting this year) and had their best season ever.
