Right now, an assistant position is open for Ale, but she currently is not in the running for head coach position.
A gentleman who previously had coached at Gardner Webb has interviewed and this upcoming week, a guy who has coached at Binghamton is scheduled to interview. I do not know who the third candidate is.
They would like to have someone hired by the beginning of August. I am not sure that goal will be reached as they got a late start with other things (football ops center, new carpet in weight room in hancock, new turf, vines floor, etc.) pressing.
It also did not help that the athletic department did not get its budget until a week (everyone else found out around April 1) before the budget went into effect for the fiscal year on July 1. They did not know much they could offer.

Tennis coach Chris Johnson will hold open tryouts for both the men's and women's tennis teams on Wednesday, August 23, at 6 p.m. at the Esbenshade-Hershey Courts on campus.
Those wishing to tryout do not need to sign-up; just come to the courts Wednesday.
The guys played an alright tournament (Longwood, Richmond and Mary Washington were the other participants).
THey won 7 matches and lost 14. The good news is we won an overwhelming majority of our doubles matches, so come spring the doubles point shouldn't be an issue like last season.
