LAX in the philly burbs is growing exponentialy; and lax growth frequently comes at the expense of little league baseball
i've heard a lot of kids are also leaving soccer for lacrosse and thus more schools are moving soccer from a spring sport to a fall sport.
Who played soccer in the spring anyways? Or are you talking women's?

SJ:

I have never used any other name but Thelaxman on this board but I sure have been accused otherwise. As for the Administration they have made some mistakes on some things that I can't discuss here but the truth came out in my settlement case and the truth will come out in the end. If you do some research on the internet in South Carolina Federal Court you can read about it. Some of the stuff just outright breaks my heart and even after all of that I still support and admire LU. When you have walked a mile in my shoes with my medical issues I have and the Medical problems my one Son has you may understand why I was so critical. When I gave my bitterness to the Lord and forgave those who were responsible then the Lord brought most of this legal stuff to an end. That is all I can say for now. As for people liking me, if they want to hold stuff against me they need to deal with God about it. I know I got peace once I gave my bitterness over to the Lord and forgave those who were responsible for the accident in Alabama.

Soccer is a great sport. That is why it is played all over the world. Look forward to LU getting a NCAA Women's Lacrosse Team and I am sure it will be a huge success. I enjoyed coaching the Girls Club Team in the 2004 season. Also give it time and if the right people get in there LU will become a solid Men's Team in the NCAA. Also LU holds it's own on the academic playing field. There is no accident when LU beats the best of the best in Debate including the Ivy League Schools.

I am out,

women's lax would be a great addition. of course we would be playing ACC schools, but i think JMU, UR, W&M have the sport and so does vandy. and though it is not as exciting as the men's game, it is still a good sport and there are more teams playing lax than field hockey.
