I don't see how we couldn't be preseason #1-we return Kallie, Nicki, Webber, Bacon, plus are adding two more excellent recruits. Winthrop will still be good, they have forced everyone in the Big South to step up their game, however if anyone in the Big South wants to take the title from us they'll have to step it up again to a new, higher level.

Yeah, there's no question that LU will be #1 next year in the preseason poll. WU should still be strong, and Coach Polhamus is really high on the two recruits that are coming in next year (both are 6'2"). But with how LU played this year and with the firepower they return (and most importantly, Kallie Corbin), LU will have the bulls-eye next year.
WEF, We know one of the two recruits coming in, Brittany Blackman. She is the real deal. Nicki played JO ball with her a couple of years ago. Pinder was high on her, too. We tried to get her to look at LU, but when she finally made a trip up to Lynchburg, I think she had already decided to commit to WU. Her dad was the coach of our JO team. She played middle when she played with Nicki, but moved to RS for the last two years of JO. She is a really nice gal and Winthrop will love having her on campus.
I have no doubt that the Flames will be the pre season #1 team. Yes, they will have a target on their back but that will keep them fired up all year! This team is going to rock in 08.
