Laura and I will be coming over from Oregon... we'll be dressed in red... wait, that might not work. We'll wear blue!
The tickets were sold out in less than 20 minutes last night. We hope to hear from our coaches about visiting team tickets.
I see this as a great opportunity for the LU volleyball program. We can play hard, be a gracious winner, and build our reputation as an excellent Christian school with a tough-as-nails volleyball team. For all we know, there might be a high school player attending the game who wants to play at a Christian University.
Note: It was not until Kallie saw the Liberty basketball team on ESPN (NCAA Tournament in 2006) that she took seriously the phone calls and letters from coach Pinder. I say this with experience, there is a reason beyond this season that we're playing at Nebraska.
Red wouldn't make sense at Nebraska. They do what we try to do at every home event. It was either them or Arkansas that originated the "red sea" concept. With blue you wll stand out as LU fans.
