SUNRISE · Jacey Bailey, one of the state's top high school sprinters, wants to leave a lasting impression before heading off to Liberty University at Lynchburg, Va., in the fall.
The Plantation alum will compete in the 100- and 200-meter races in the USA Track and Field Junior Olympic region meet that begins today at Piper.
Here's a link to Jacey's performances in high school. He has the potential be a solid performer once he adjusts to college athletics. It takes some time, though. Don't expect a Josh McDougal-type in a speed suit right away!
