It was mentioned to me at the Spring game that the new facilites are "great" but not permanent. Indications were that the AD would like to see something better in the future, not sure where they would go with it though.

Liberty University Head Wrestling Coach Jesse Castro has announced the signing of Scott Clymer to a national letter of intent for the 2007-08 academic year.
It is a good pickup for LU wrestling. Clymer has wrestled in one of the toughest wrestling areas in the country. PA District XI is high quality (I'm from that area and many matches are televised locally) so his W-L is against good competition week in and week out. I hope more kids from this area end up at Liberty.
PIAA district 3,9,11 are definatly the best wrestling districts in the state if not the country.
The only knock on him would be he is AA and not AAA (better compition at the bigger schools). But He is a strong wrestler and when I saw his name pop up on intermat was excited because any PA state qualifier and medalist is an outstanding pickup for any school.
You are right about Northwestern being an AA school. However, some of the AA's in the district match up pretty well with the AAA's. Easton is a perennial AAA powerhouse but there have been years when Wilson, an AA school matches up pretty well. These kids are all wrestling each other in the same tournaments from the time they are in kindergarten so the drop off from AAA to AA isn't as big as might be expected. Just trying to put the best spin on the signing and doing a little PA District 11 bragging
I live in District 3 and hoped a few kids from this district signed with Liberty. I talked to a few state medalists from D-3 and they said they heard of it and one was seriously considering it but then signed for football.
