Tennisfan, I'll also be there Charlotte has some great shopping areas, I recommend Concord Mills and Southpark Mall for starters.

Allergic to shopping? Good for you, I can't seem to stay out of malls/shopping areas when I travel. Typically don't buy much, just something that I like if it's on sale, but that's how my closet got to contain enough clothing to probably sufficiently cover nearly every Amazonian tribe in Brasil
