Hi Everyone,
I have been looking for specific information regarding the Elon Fall tournament all week long... finally It has been posted!
The following teams will be participating on the women's side:
"The teams competing in this year’s field include Longwood, Campbell, Radford, Liberty, Presbyterian, Winston-Salem State, UNC Asheville, East Tennessee State, East Carolina and Southern Conference rival Appalachian State." (This information was obtained from the Elon athletic web site)

Our #1 player, Jordan Jenkins and our #3 player, Hannah Fick have both been honored with the opportunity to represent Liberty University in New York at the Billie Jean King Collegiate Tournament. I will search for the draws and post under a new topic. I hope they do GREAT!

Our Men will also be competing at Elon!
The other teams that will be participating are:
"The teams competing in this year’s field include Tennessee (which concluded the spring ranked as the number two team in the nation) Longwood, UNC Wilmington, Tennessee Tech, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, Radford, Liberty, Presbyterian, Duke and Winston-Salem State. Southern Conference rivals UNC Greensboro and Georgia Southern will also compete in the tournament." (obtained from the Elon Athletic Web Site)

So can I assume that Cam slides into #1 slot at Elon?

No, I don't think so.. the draw has an A1 flight and an A2 flight, Jordan would have been in the A1. Cam is in the A2 flight. The official line up for this tournament is as follows (according to the draw)

Okay, now an update from Elon

Cameron Richard posted a win against East Tennessee State University and also posted a win against Elon. The finals will be held on Sunday
Annisha Domenech lost to East Tennessee State University this morning
Rebekah Jenkins posted a win this morning against Longwood and is currently on court.
Carol Lobel lost to Longwood
Lera Klintsevich posted a win today against Longwood and is currently on court!
Jessie Boda lost to Campbell University

Doubles
Cameron Richard and Rebekah Jenkins lost to Elon
Carol Lobel and Lera Klintsevich lost to East Tennessee State University
Jessie Boda and Annisha Domenech posted a win against East Carolina University

Last report...
Cameron Richard posted a win over Elon to win in the finals!!
Annisha Domenech and Jessie Boda posted a win over a mixed doubles pair from East Tennessee State and Elon... The girls won the finals... Great Victory!!!

One more note, Cam had great joy in representing Liberty and battling for victory. She was cheered on by her teammates (both men and women)! Their support and GREAT coaching offered the encouragement to battle hard.

Congrats to Cam and the others who won their flights. It is amazing to see the heart that these players have, after Rebekah Jenkins coming down from a 1-set, 5-0 in the second deficit to win her match against Louisville last weekend at Tech and Cam doing what she did at Elon.
