LU played 5 sets of volleyball this weekend, taking on VT, UVA, VCU, W&M and Hampton.

The Lady Flames defeated Hampton twice and VCU, and narrowly lost to Tech, UVA, and W&M.

The Flames went 6-2 this weekend at Virginia Tech. Loren Bosche, who got to play and was mentioned in the write up, has a brother who goes to VT.

LU defeated JMU twice, Appalachian State twice, Tech once and ETSU once. The ladies also lost one set each to Tech and ETSU.

LU is getting some nice wins without Boggs or Nikki playing. Hopefully Boggs will be OK after some time. Not sure if its been mentioned on here yet or not but Nikki will not be returning. Some good freshman will be coming in as well.....not going to lie I've been impressed this spring with some of the inexperienced girls stepping up.
