Florida Times-Union wrote:Sunday's "College-Am," which had area JU boosters, supporters and the media playing with some of the college participants, was a bunch of fun. I had the chance to play with Robert Karlsson, a native of Sweden and a sophomore from Liberty University (and no relation to the Robert Karlsson who is a European PGA Tour star).Click Here for Full Story
Karlsson said he's been "walking on air," since the team got here Saturday night and has been looking forward to playing the Stadium Course since Liberty put the tournament on its schedule. Karlsson is obviously a big fan of countryman Henrik Stenson, who won The Players Championship last year. Karlsson knew every spot Stenson hit the ball to set up birdies in the final round of The Players last year and got a huge thrill when he hit an 8-iron to within 2 feet of the hole at No. 17, and tapped in to make birdie on his first attempt at playing the Island Green.
Karlsson was touched by the custom of flying the flag of the defending champion's country all year at the Circle of Champions. He said seeing the Swedish flag flying at that spot, "was very emotional for me."
