Strong Finish Lifts LU to Third-Place Finish

The Flames rallied to post the second-best team total on Tuesday afternoon. However, it was not enough to catch tournament champion Richmond, as Liberty finished third in the Frank Landrey Invitational.

Liberty, who was hosting the 14-team event at the Spring Valley Golf Club for the second-straight year, fired a five-over-par 293 during the final round.

Medic, I sure wish I could get my nephew to consider LU. He finished 4th in the 5A state championship here in Colorado.
