Hey Josh, did the two on the right hang with you other three on the 21 miler? I noticed something on the picture about Lynchburg girls. I still have one for you to check out here if you ever get back to Lynchburg. Even Jimmer would have found one by now if he wasn't already tied down. We should have a great group to run with, so maybe you should plan a visit. You won't believe what's happened to Liberty.
If I mentioned words that started with SC from FD would I be on to something? Someone dropped a big-name LU transfer on another message board and I was wondering if there was any truth to it. Please tell me there is!
That would be truth my friend. We are still waiting on a release so that he could run for us this season, but he has been released to sign with us and he has done that. I talked to Josh about this about half a week ago and he said I could post something about it on here to let you guys know. We just wanted to make sure it was official before we posted anything about it.
Ummm, guys, if this works out, the XC team is an automatic contender this year. Not for the Big South. We are talking about the whole ball of wax here! And not just this year!
I broke the code and looked the guy up--quite a pick up for the team. So as not to ruffle any feathers, is it green lit to post the accomplishments of this new signee?

Yeah,
The Sam Chelanga transfer is true. We have been working on that for months now, though I didnt want to say anything about that until it was officail. I'm not sure how letsrun found out....
He has some great credentials. A 2 time all american as a freshman last year with a 5k Pr of 13:44 I think, though he still has a long way to improve. He came out on top in two of our five meetings last year. Its going to be great to get to train with him next year, though at this point he does not have a release to compete, and may have to sit out a year.
All that said, there is another transfer we have who has almost as good credentials as Sam, though this situatiuon is still very uncertian as well. He has signed with LU, but we still have to see if he has enough credits transfered in to be eligible...
Id like to ask for your prayer for our team. If these two guys pull through for us and get eligible we would have the tallent on the team to potentially even win NCAAs...Though at this point nothing is for sure in our line up next year....

Anyone doing any training out there? Only a week or so until show-up time, right?
By the way, Josh M...I don't know if you normally journal, but this would be a great time to start if you and the other guys don't already. "Running with the Flames" isn't much of a title, but you get the idea of where you could go with it if the season goes as advertized. (Chris Lear isn't hanging out with you right now, is he?)
