It's unfair to one team to have to play championship game on the oppents home court. that should be a no-no. play it at a neutral site

it is embrassing, that;s why conference should find a suitable site. a tourney game should have fans from each school in attendance, not just 2 or 3 parents, the bus driver and a member of the athletic administration.

The "Liberty Way" should not have anything to do with any other conference. I have seen teams come into Williams Stadium and get beat, then get in huddle with LU for a prayer. That is a beautiful scene, no matter how you look at it.

Bottom line is there are venues within the boundaries of Big South conference that could be used for tournament. Very true, most conference schedules are not balanced properly. Too many conferences take the easy way out when making schedules. when EVERY school is fighting for SAME championship, then they should all play SAME schedule. It's important theat the playing field be as level as humanly possible.

By letting Longwood in, Big South has demonstrated they have very low standards, or maybe no standards at all. If Longwood had football, I would say good move, but they do not. anytime a football conference lets in a non football school, they weaken the conference.

Maybe Longwood has a suitable site for tourney, and that's how they got voted into the league. It can't be much else.

By adding Longwood, it waters down the Big South since they do not have football. the last thing the Big South needed was another non football school. LU needs to bolt the Big South at first avaiable opportunity. I hope the current study being done will speed up the exit process.

In reality, the tournament SHOULD NOT be on anyone's homecourt, regardless of what they did in regular season. when a conference uses regular season records for site selection, problems arise because some schools do not have suitable facilitites for a tournament. Get a neutral site and play ball.
