Well I mentioned him first in this thread but @ballah09 mentioned him first in the Jerry Jr thread. Three years later, we get our wish.

Since I got a dislike for contribution :dontgetit I'm going to respond with more contribution :flamingdevil . https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nP8yXkdSSTr_rTFExRgqTtSeQACKU-hQ6dUFs4YUvDY/edit?usp=sharing This is a live sheet that will change as FPI and SP+ rankings change, but comparing our s...
The sky is not falling. We are having to clear games to accommodate conference scheduling. This isn't shocking. It isn't some major statement against Liberty. This is purely Ian and Mickey having to clean up because the work they have done paid off with a conference home.
Just a small note, for any alumni that worry about the leadership of the university, I recommend you watch Campus Community on Wednesday nights. We know it's not mandatory, look at the attendance, the message, the amount of scripture used, and the passion on stage and in the Vines. One hundred respo...
I chose not to drag two kiddos (5 and 1) to sit in that for four hours and add on the two hour drive each way. The fan and dad in me fought and dad won. As he should.
Can't wait for WF!
After seeing this, I think I could get behind doing this live each game.
Showing my 5 year old daughter the updated field and she immediately keyed in on the new CUSA logos and asked what that was about. After having her spell it back to me, I was pretty happy to tell her that because of how well football has played that football and all the other sports get to go to a n...
The "free agency" of college sports is making the on field product of football better than I can remember, even with the overly bloated FBS ranks. Currently 11 G5 teams have an FPI above the midpoint. Additionally, 58 of the 131 projected starting QBs are transfers! And 26 of them are starting at G5...
What a difference this is for us! Remember when we had Masha starting over Buckshot?
Subtle detail. They moved the secondary scoreboard to the center of the Gate 1 Arch. The game clock is on the front of the camera platform above the berm logo.

Just a quick side by side of the updates via the timelapse camera.
This is old news. Certainly not a fan of it. There’s more to a Fort/Camp/Base than just the name. There’s a sense of Camaraderie etc. Except for the Air Force. You could name their bases after office furniture stores and folks would be fine :D Fun story about that. There's a naming convention with ...
Since this thread got bumped, I was pretty disappointed to pay more for my FC membership and my tickets this year and still have my seats gone when it was my turn to pick.
I think the best outcome is that there are probably two FBS starters on this roster and by 2023 we will see them both, but one will transfer out. It's a good problem to have. I hope that they can tell the depth on their new team to come to the mountain too.
A friendly reminder to all.

Some of you need to take rule three to heart. Some of you (especially myself) need to make sure that rule three violations don't bait you into rule one violations.
If you think I am talking about you. I am.
Essentially casting a net, hoping that another Tim Tebow is out there.
I like Kennesaw. I think they have those aspirations for FBS and clearly have a drive for athletics. They're a rare available combo of program AND market. And my ultra dark horse candidate may actually be one of the strongest. Stephen F Austin. Top 150 KenPom(but spent 4 years in the top 75), curren...
I just need to say this. Jackson St and Jacksonville St are two different but both good FCS programs.
We need to remember ceilings and floors. Going to a subpar G5 conference does limit the ceiling but it also raises the floor for all sports. The American or a regionally aligned Appalachian conference would both mean greater chances for all teams to compete via multi bid leagues, football benefits f...

Just kidding coach!
I didn't mean for that to be a hot take. I think we all know that 5 years of this kinda of performance wouldn't be well tolerated. I'm not saying the ship is going under but 17 total points against two FBS teams isn't exactly smooth sailing either. Dabo is one of the best out there and I imagine he ...
I think we're safe for a little bit. Auburn and Tennessee aren't in the mix. Within 5 years, the only one that scares me is if Clemson can't steady the ship. Is FSU enough of a resource heavy blue blood to be attractive?
