Watching the LU vs. Tarhole softball game. I really liked the outfielders choreographed dance behind second base before the first inning. It is almost as good as the organized cheers from the dugouts.

Gaining by Losing (here is to hoping) When a player who has a limited future in our program enters the portal, I look at it as a "win win". They win by having an opportunity to find a place where they can fit in better and we win by freeing up a scholarship which can go to a player who may be able ...

Can't make free throws or layups. All we accomplished was reaching the inevitable in the first game. We just didn't have a good team this year. No height, very little athleticism. Not sure I am excited about any of the returning players.

What is up with Kyle Rodes, a 5th year senior shooting 4-13? He has not been shooting well. I expect better performance from him. Instead, we have a sophomore leading the way, in Cleveland. KR has always been a marginal D1 player at his best. Not athletic at all. Good guy, smart, will probably make...

Not many people line up to take a job after Nick Saban or John Wooden. Better to wait for one or two coaches to walk the plank, before taking over for these guys.

Anytime you have to depend on Rode to be a scorer, you have MAJOR problems. If I am an opposing coach, I pay him to shoot 3's. The guards are too small, the forwards are too small. etc. I trust McKay to get us back on track, but without a couple of Yuuuuuge transfer portal additions, it is going to ...

Darius was the second-best all time. But being number 2 is still very special. We have a great coach, system, etc. But we do need more height and athleticism to be competitive. HUGE Angel fan here. My guess is that Ohtani won't play another 2-3 years, he is too prone to injury. I will be surprised if he ever pitches again.

Pete Thamel just said Johnathon Bennett is in the portal. That’s not very surprising to me. Good. He is not a FBS QB. He led us to wins over BYU and Arkansas, kept us in it with Wake Forest, and helped us to an 8 - 5 season last year where we would've had more wins had HCHF kept his head in the gam...
