I am so glad to see where this program is versus the days when Dale Layer almost completely destroyed it entirely. That said, this is a strange year and we should remember to temper our expectations. If we continue to perform like this, we will have a great year and probably will be heading to the N...

This team is going to be pretty amazing next year. I understand Green is leaving but Bella Smuda is going to end up being a massive upgrade long term. The girl is 6'5 and has legitimate guard skills.

Is this seriously some sort of parody? Is Liberty trying to run its own version of SNL? Guess as long as it supports the arrogance and belief that he is above everyone everywhere, JR will just do anything.

Make no excuses about refs or shots taken. You just lost to the #189 power ranked team. #189 Think about that. #189 There are 188 better teams than #189. We lost to them... #189 Yes, the loss was bad and shouldn't have happened. We also should not take credit away from North Florida for taking adva...

I live in the Philadelphia suburbs and can tell you that Bella Smuda is probably the best player the Liberty women have signed since Katie Feenstra-Mattera. Having seeing her play live, she's 6'5 or 6'6, has legitimate guard skills (watched her drain a stepback 3 in a game this year), and is an incr...

Not that upset with the loss, sure it was bad the whole game and we didn't look like we cared for a lot of it. The team can maybe afford 1 loss but not more the rest of the season for sure if there is any slim hope for the at-large. Regardless, need to learn from this loss and move on, because anoth...

Even if this ends up being a win, genuinely worried about how this team plays when the 3 isn't falling. I understand this is the "toughest" team they have faced so far (even if it is one of the worst P5 teams), but with smart decision making even driving to the basket, the Flames are up by 15-20. Ye...

Really upsetting to watch to be quite honest. Vanderbilt being sloppy and defense being suffocating not resulting in anything besides jacking up 3s. Team needs to be smarter and they'd be up 15.

Winnable? Absolutely, nothing based on statistics or previous games shows me or the experts that Liberty will struggle in this one or have too many problems. We need to remember that this Vanderbilt team frankly isn't too great but also not bad per se. Toughest opponent for the Flames so far? Sure, ...

I predicted this team would be ranked at some point this year, the key being the team not getting full of themselves and believing their own hype this year. I think an at-large is a possibility with 5 or less losses on the year, but those have to come against the harder competition (This is going to...

Whoever has been working with the post players this season has been a godsend (Is it still Sherard?). I know let’s just blame the loss on Buckshot. Let’s not talk about the dropped passes that where there in their hands. Let’s not talk about the missed FG. Oh and let’s not forget about the DB’s blown coverage in the end zone. But let’s blame the QB who still had almost 300 yards of passing and 2 TD...

Not a ton to take away from this game besides the fact that we were completely outclassed in every aspect of the game. To his detriment, Buckshot had not faced solid FBS talent (not even top-tier mind you) until last year and never once looked decent doing so. I'm looking forward to what a Hugh Free...

It could also be that Newton is simply not in great condition for this type of system. He’s definitely looking like a massive swing and miss so far and hope he’a able to find his place somewhere, whether it be here or somewhere else. I like the guy a ton but he’s simply not a DI level player.

That was one thing that I, nor the commentators understood with the spike. I don't know if Freeze called for that to happen so I'd be pretty shocked if he did. Buckshot had a good game overall but he still has to try to make the best decision possible, and I don't think he did that with consistency ...

This one's really going to hurt because BYU gave the Flames basically any chance they could to come back and win it. Just simply not ready against the bigger boys, even if BYU isn't all that amazing. Need to regroup and get ready to play a tougher opponent in UVA.

Safeties look more confused than anything. Legitimately amazed we are at game 10 of the season and it looks like the defense is learning how to play for the first time.

Rutgers- 13

It has been stated upthread, but if we lose this game, then this program is still incredibly far away where it needs to be to be a competitive FBS program. Yes, us losing this game is a possibility, but it also would be an upset and certainly a black mark. Need to win this.
