Just remember that fine academic institution, Louisville, got into the ACC, and I've never heard anyone refer to SMU's academics as being great.

Liberty heads east down 460 today for a game at Longwood. Need to bring back a win, to protect RPI.

Madrey making diving catch in Top of 7th in LF, and doubled runner off 1B for game ending DP. Escobar complete game win. We're now in driver's seat for regular season.

We need to pitch her like NMS pitched Roupe today. Walk her. I believe one of her HRs got out of the park so quick, our outfielder didn't have time to look up. She has a good, quick swing.

Final NMSU 6 Liberty 2. Pitching was good enough to win. NMS had 5 hits, but 2 were HRs. We only had 4 hits. Left bases loaded in bottom of 7th.

Final home CUSA 3 game series, starts tonight. NMSU is tied for 2nd place with WKU at 10-5. (LU is 15-3). A liberty sweep will eliminate NMSU from regular season title race.

That might be the dumbest thing I've ever seen pertaining to college sports, (other than the stupid transfer portal). Putting VT and UVA in with a bunch of northern schools is completely stupid.

Our approach at the plate is not good. Most of our hitters look lost. Bad half swings, taking hittable pitches for strikes, too many weak pop-ups. Need to be more aggressive.

Base running isn't our strong point, except for 2 or 3 players

Going into season most everyone I talked with was highly concerned about our pitching, but confident we'd score a lot of runs. The opposite has happened.
