From what I can tell, these guys will confirm that it is actually possible to perform live and be creative in your 70s. Unlike a certain other group doing their "farewell" tour charging 4 figure prices to watch them lip-synch to 10 year old autotuned vocal tracks of 50 year old songs. John Mellenca...

I try to alternate non-fiction with fiction and go from the classics to modern thrillers, really any genre aside from romance or horror, lol. I just finished Under the Dome from Stephen King. It was good. I haven't seen the show and, as always, there was a bit of Deus Ex Machina at the end (typical...

Wondering if you have looked into catching the new "supergroup" BEAT, which features Steve Vai and Tool drummer Danny Carey joining Adrian Belew and Tony Levin to do the 80s King Crimson catalogue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Urp95tWoOCc They will be in Richmond, Charlotte, DC and Durham, all i...

John Mellencamp puts on an amazing show. Still has that gravely voice. The band is tight and the music is exceptional. He’s one artist I will always go to see.

Neither FSU nor Clemson bring new markets of any significance to the SEC. Both would be a boon to the Big XII even though neither are viable options for the B1G due to academics. UNC & UVa would potentially be coveted by both leagues leaving those schoools debating among their regents whether they ...

Give me 5 Tomasz Gielos and we could rule the world If you are actually suggesting those 5 be on the floor at the same time............. I'd take a pass on that. 5 on the roster with some other pieces (2 solid guards and a couple of stud defenders) would be formidable. Thomasz is an awesome dude, b...

Ill Flame beat me to it. Wichita State has nas been a top 50 MBB program for most of the past fifty years. The timing of their collapse as they moved into the AAC was purely coincidental. HEB is alright, but honestly Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery store on this side of the pond. However, the best grocery store that I have ever been in is Lidl in Vilnius, Lithuania. The first sentence of your argument is subjective and your opinion. You are now angry because we point out facts about this program and you have a major problem with it. Oh well! Again, you misstate my position. I’m not remotely angry. And it’s an empirical fact that moving from FCS to FBS is much ...

You lost all credibility in the argument saying the ASUN to CUSA move is equal to jumping FCS to FBS. You also misstate my position. I’m not satisfied with finishing second. Except for this year, that’s an amazing accomplishment with this team. I’m pretty sure the coaches won’t be satisfied with con...

Sorry, same AD that released Gill for Freeze. He can do it again to anyone. Making the jump from FCS to FBS is entirely different from moving from ASUN to CUSA. There were also a dozen other factors at play that aren’t now. I mean I might know a thing or two about college athletics and coaching mys...

Here is the difference between you and me and a few other people. You keep giving CG a lot of credit for winning all those games in the Big South, a much lower conference. You can look at the season results in the last 3 years this way. Finishing second, look at it as a great season or mediocrity. If you are satisfied coming in second and no longer going to the NCAA tournament, then that’s your satisfaction. Some of us wants to see the program go up to the next level...
