Everyone, buckle up!
Everyone, buckle up!
So the bats came alive by way of…..bunting?
Hey! Nothing wrong with a good BK! And if I have some of their coupons, All the better!!!!
I don’t mind the JMU hate. Rivalries are great! That said, Mark is a fine coach and will get his P5 shot I feel soon enough. He was a hot name in Morgantown. UCONN looks unbeatable. But this is March. I picked Auburn. Only team in KenPom top 10 O and D. That backfired. My 4yo son is leading our fami...
Could be old habits - some bad ones? - taught or learned before these athletes arrived to these coaches. Wouldn’t you agree?

I can’t wait, though. Being old must be the BEST: go to day sporting events anytime I please. Say whatever I want and get away with ignorance, stupidity, racism, agism, etc. Dude! What a life!!
I am not discussing specific. When I’ve spoken to Mark, I always sensed he was extremely happy where is. More of a “grass is greener where you water” kind of guy. I took the AD move as a segue to semi-retirement in addition to the pay. And yes LU would pay more, for sure. I just do t know that it wo...
I suspect Mark will stay at Union. I also predict the next WBB coach will be female, and not a current member of staff.
The Liberty coaching tree in women’s basketball is surprisingly deep. But I’m not sure the head coach would come from the tree. Other staff, maybe.
Aaannnnddddd……..?
If you fire a coach who always finishes top 2 in the conference, you will struggle to hire as good of a replacement.
I’m certain the counter-argument to that will be, “If the candidate doesn’t like that pressure, we don’t want them anyway.”
LU WBB was the FGCU and MTSU of the Big South. They won OPC and advanced in tourney when they had even better athletes and players: unicorns. To be fair, this team got better over the course of conference play. I, for one, did not see a two seed and advancement to champ game on this season’s horizon...
Haha, me too!

Have you seen what UTEP has done since coming from behind to beat LU? When you all said tourney was wide open, looks like you were right. The bracket is a mess.
I'm concerned about the attendance we had this year. Despite the best home schedule we've ever had this was our worst attendance since 2018. More people showed up to watch us play stetson and Central Arkansas last year than the western kentucky and MTSU games this season. I believe our club hockey ...

Who hosted the football championship again?
OK thanks. 1. Insulated and Uninformed 2. Yikes. Poor training? 3. Root of problem? 4. No excuse 5. Doing what they were told 6. Doing what they were told 7. Totally not sure how to answer this. Obviously I’m playing devil’s advocate here. But I feel compelled to do so because you seem to just have ...
I’d love to try to answer your question, but can you be more specific?
When you say “same people in leadership roles”, do you mean the Board, or those in the dean’s offices enforcing the Liberty Way?
Staff decisions are always more important than people realize, especially in sports with larger rosters. Great point about assistant coaches, @ECC29 That said, in-game decisions like leaving a pitcher or not are a mixed bag. If the kid hits his spots and gets out of it, Jackson be praised! If it’s a...
I’m surprised JMU agreed to it. I suppose it just made so much sense it overcame their hostility.
